ABOUT EPS, ALBUMS, SINGLES

For those who are familiar with the terms, skip ahead and continue reading on Music and Video Production with me. Otherwise read and learn the following below.

WHAT ARE EPS?

EPS: 1-3 songs, 1 or more songs are/is 10 minutes or longer with a combination of all tracks to be 30 minutes or 25 minutes or under; or 4-6 songs that are 30 minutes or under combined can be considered an EP.

WHAT ARE ALBUMS?

Albums: 1-12 or more songs but is over 30 minutes in combination or 7 or more songs over 30 minutes in combination can be considered an Album.

WHAT ARE SINGLES?

Singles: 1-3 songs are/is 30 minutes or less in combination and all individual songs are less than 10 minutes can be considered a Single. Usually 1 song.

ROYALTIES

Every producers favorite part and every artist managers least. But is it really? Not so much. Don't worry, the creation of music always comes first and if you believe in fair compensation then there's nothing to it.

YOU GET, WHO GET?

Any completed projects we worked on is your to keep, own and to do what you want with under our Contractual Agreement. All that means is that with all royalties (mechanical, performance) I receive 10 percent for Music Production Service projects. That leaves the Artist with 90 percent of royalty earnings minus of course the cost of the project. None of this applies to you if you don't plan on publishing your music and earn from it. Video Production Service projects DO NOT permit royalty returns. Together we create the foundation that is upheld by both the Artist and Producer. It’s only right for both the Artist, Producer and other Contributors to be credited for their work; Legally, financially and commercially. For more information, please visit the Terms & Conditions.

MUSIC PRODUCTION

PRICING

You name your price and we work from there. The minimum pay for any and all work is $100 USD. For obvious reasons, half of the agreed price is used as a deposit to establish a healthy business relationship and incentivize the beginning of production. The other half is paid after the completion of the work.

SPECIFICATIONS

Communicate with me where and how you want your vocals, effects, videos, photos, etc. Demonstration through time stamps, video explanation, on call, text — it is important that we both are communicable one way or another especially in the early stages of development to ensure service is satisfactory. Without being informed I will place them where I think they should be and how I think they should sound or look.

CREDENTIALS

Provide appropriate credentials for my production services. It’s only right for both the artist, producer and other contributors to be credited for their work; Legally, financially and commercially. Such credit shall be in substantial form: ​“Produced by IMOT”.

“IMOT” should be in all capitals.

PROJECT FILES

Without a response, update or a follow up on a project within seven (7) days files may be deleted and the project may be considered on hold or cancelled. You are responsible for the holding and keeping of all audio files you send and in any case of lost or deleted files during or after a completed project, I am not obligated to restore any project data. Audio files sent by you or created by me may be cut, removed, repositioned, unused, or in other words modified for artistic purposes in communicated fashion. TIME OF COMPLETION

The time needed to complete production of a project depends on many factors; duration, ambitions, expectations, effects, knowledge and the clarity of the Artist and what an Artist is asking from me. The time it takes to complete a project is variable but it will never be impractical. The stronger the vision and connection, the faster and smoother the experience.

PROJECT UPHOLD

Currently I only take 2 projects at a time. I will try my best to give you a reasonable time frame in which we can begin working together. Usually the same day or the day after.
